The Company

Green Buses was established by law 2119 in 1952 and had 32 buses.

In 1966 it increased its strength to 34 In 1971 to 38 and today it has a strength of 62 buses. It serves local transport from Corfu to the most remote village of the island and connects Corfu with Athens and Thessaloniki daily and all the capitals of the prefectures located on these two road axes, with agencies in Lefkimmi, Larissa, Trikala, Kozani, Thessaloniki and Athens. Green Buses transports passengers, students, primary and secondary education, people with special needs, press, Greek and foreign magazines, postal bags and parcels.

Today, in addition to the 62 ultra-modern buses, it also maintains a tourist office and occupies one of the first positions in all of Greece among intercity bus companies, standing out for the comfort and safety of its buses and its polite, humane and willing staff.

With Law 2963/2001, Green Buses has transformed into a S.A. a new development tool that is more flexible and modern.
